Kale "Brain Stem" Method

Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic

     There are several different upper cervical corrective techniques available in the world today.  The Kale "Brain Stem" method is based on the original teachings of Dr. B.J. Palmer.  The spinal correction is performed by hand on the specialized "knee-chest" table (the patient's position is with knees on the floor and chest on the treatment table).

    The science of Chiropractic was discovered in 1895, in Davenport, Iowa by Daniel Palmer. The first procedures of "adjusting" the Atlas vertebra were developed and clinically researched by his son, Dr. B.J. Palmer (1881-1961).

    Dr. Michael Kale preserved Dr. Palmer's method, and at one time was one of the only doctors left in the world skilled in this science and art.  Dr. Kale taught many doctors this method.  It is used successfully around the world today.
